Countryman Songo, host of Ghana's Most Popular TV show “Fire for Fire” has taken his fight for transparency in sports administration to a new level with the release of a single entitled “Sika Die Basabasa.”

In a famous collaboration with Barima Sydney, Songo, known in private life as Patrick Osei Agyemang laces the song with his trademark “Ogya no hye woa, wobeba. Ebeye Ogya!” and talks about the ills of the Ghanaian society.

The song is anchored on his belief that there is massive chop chop in the country as a whole but in the sports establishment especially, with his now universally quoted cry “Sika die basabasa” to wit, “untoward chop chop everywhere.”

It opens with the cry “Sikadie, basa, sikadie, basa, Ogya no hye woa wobe ba. Ebe ye ogya!” and features Barima Sydney decrying the ills of the country and government's response to it, including the famous 'yentie obiaa'.

Speaking on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem morning show of Monday April 23, 2015, Countryman Sngo said this was just the beginning of things to come, pledging that his fight to clean Ghana sports, especially soccer, would only end when the right things are done.
