Celebrity Nadia Buari Thrills Critics At Pan African Film Festival
FEB 18, 2015 LISTEN

Even in her absence at both screenings, talented African actress Nadia Buari managed to dazzle patrons of the ongoing Pan African Film Festival where her maiden production and directorial debut 'Diary of Imogene Brown' premiered.

The NSB STUDIOS production which by far remains the most patronized movie premiere in the history of Ghanaian film saw the Digital Rave Cinemas in Baldwin Hills on the 8th and 13th of February filled to capacity with late patrons literally struggling to catch a glimpse of the addiction triumph story of Imogene Brown. Sadly our cameras weren't permitted into the cinemas; hence we sampled reactions of some prolific patrons of the screening;

Dawn Sutherlin, VP of Xerox L.A said 'Nadia is extremely talented, her role as a drug addict was so believable. She nailed the character, Kudos!'

Marie Deary, Snr. Financial analyst of Wealth Management Advisors C.A – 'An incredibly talented actress Nadia is, you could feel her triumph'.

Renowned writer Patricia Akiba retorted, 'I really enjoyed the movie, the storyline is so captivating.

The President of PAFF, Babu Awuku with a smirk on his face said, 'Nadia left an impression on the men since Sunday, they were literally lusting after her!'

Though the star actress Nadia Buari was absent, her sister Sydikat Buari during the QnA after the screening informed us, Nadia took ill on the 13th after promoting the event on the Dominique Diprima Show on KJLH; the only black renowned Stevie Wonder radio station in L.A .

We find it amazing how even on a sick bed; Nadia Buari still manages to make Africa proud. We wish her a speedy recovery and salute the entire NSB STUDIOS for their hard work.
