African dancehall sensation VybrantFaya has been nominated for the best DJ Song of the Year's award in the 3rd annual 2015 Ghana DJ Awards slated for Saturday 21st February. VybrantFaya's club banger mampi, which happens to be his debut single, goes on a 'head-on' brush with high-life legend Daddy Lumba's song 'yen tie obiaa', BET Awards winner Sarkodie ft. Stonebouy 'Baafira', Castro ftSarkodie- Adonia, D'Black'sSeihor, YaaPono – Amen and gospel singer Joyce Blessing – 'monkomoakyi'

VybrantFaya has made tremendous impact on the dancehall scene in the year of review hence the nomination serving as a huge endorsement for his brand. The Mampi single, since it's release in March 2014 has enjoyed an unchallenged position on the playlist of various DJs across the continent.

The mampi song was the original party banger for last year and it's inclusion in this category by the board of the Ghana DJ Awards express it's strength and the firmness of the VybrantFaya brand.

Speaking on Pluzz 89.9 FM with Sammy Flex (on the AM Pluzz morning show), VybrantFaya opined that he sees the nomination as a good step and an indication that he has been accepted into the entertainment scene.

He pledged his support for the award organizers and assured fans more upperclass dancehall music in the coming days.
