Renowned female disk jokey, DJ Tipsy, has received two nominations in this year's edition of the Ghana DJ Awards.
Henrietta Appiah, as she is known in real life, was nominated in the enviable 'Best Female DJ of the Year' and 'DJ Discovery of the Year' categories for the 3rd edition of the event.
DJ Tipsy is one of Ghana's fastest rising female disk jockeys steadily carving a niche for herself in a male dominated field with every step she takes in her career. She also doubles as a graphic designer, blogger and entrepreneur.
She is currently the resident DJ for Ghana Music Radio, an online radio station, and also handles audio content on Ghana Music.com.
Meanwhile Merqury Quaye, the brain behind Ghana DJ Awards, says his outfit is committed to promoting the showbiz industry as a whole for economic development, adding that it would ensure that the industry got the necessary attention it deserved.
