The case involving controversial hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has been adjourned to Tuesday, December 23 due to ill-health.

Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor who was in court reported the prosecutor  as saying Kwaw Kese had been taken ill and had been sent to the hospital.

The prosecutor, according to Erastus, told the court that the suspect could not appear in court because of his ill-health but expressed the hope that he would be able to do so on Tuesday.

The case, he added, is currently going for trial and the bail application is no more being considered.

A number of celebrities including Samini, Reggie Rockstone and members of VVIP, and actor Lilwin were in court pleaded for clemency for Kwaw Kese.

The artist has been remanded into prison custody for a little over a month after he was arrested for allegedly smoking cannabis.

Attempts to secure bail have all failed as the possession and use of narcotics is a non-bailable offence.

The controversial rapper was arrested by the police in Kumasi on Saturday, November 22, 2014 for allegedly smoking cannabis.
