Popular and versatile Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama Mcbrown, has debunked speculations that she snatched her current boyfriend, Maxwell Mensah from sultry hiplife musician Mzbel.

Answering a question to that effect in an interview with GBC Sunrise FM's Royal Mama Cita (RMC) on the Sunrise Entertainment Show on Saturday ,the beautiful actress wondered why people would speculate she snatched Mzbel's boyfriend when Mzbel is not her friend and had met her (Mzbel) only thrice all her life.

Nana Ama, who preferred to be called Empress said she had known Maxwell ,the man she hopes to tie knot with next year, for about two years before they started going out and it was later that she found out he had something to do with the “Awosome” singer.

“I did not take anybody's husband. I am too beautiful, too fine, to do that. I am not desperate to get married. I did not know he was going out with Mzbel. I do not want people to speculate that we are quarrelling and somebody has snatched somebody's husband” she explained.

Touching on Kwaw Kese's ongoing brush with the law for allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be Indian hemp, the actress said all that Kwaw needs is prayers.

“It is an issue with the court, not a showbiz issue and so ours as showbiz persons is to pray for him”.

The talented actress, who has featured in countless number of movies since 2001 is set to release her eighth and latest self produced movie, “Aduanaba” on Monday, December 22. The movie which features herself, Kojo Nkansah Lil Wayne, Matilda Asante and some new faces promises lots of valuable life lessons and thrills for movie lovers.
