Shatta Movement Family Is NOT About ‘Vandalism’

SMF Group, a legally established social-oriented creative hub with focus on youth guidance and entrepreneurial development wish to bring to the notice of the general public that it completely dissociate itself from the erroneous perception of disrespect, violence and the opprobrium of associating with lawless people.

SMF is positive social organizations with the primary goal of supporting young people realize their talents to contribute positively to national development. Over the years, the movement has channeled its resources to discovering and nurturing musical talents, artists, graphic designers, footballers and many others who are affecting society positively. The contribution of the group to social and national development is vast, as they have tirelessly invested in young people.

The passion of the founders of the 'Shatta' brand is to hold young people to be responsible for themselves and work with their talents for the betterment of their lives and that of society. This vision is paramount to the development of our communities especially, the deprived ones, where most of the members come from.

We wish to state categorically that, the brand 'Shatta Movement Family' does not connote vandalism and more so, utterly condemn the use of the brand by any person to perpetrate acts of gross disrespect, dishonesty or indiscipline in any form. We dissociate ourselves from disrespect for order and elders of our society, principles that the Ghanaian culture clearly disallows.

By this release, we pray that the misconception about the Shatta Movement Family will be corrected. We urge the general public to stay away from violence and disorderly conducts during this festive season, especially the youth. We wish our partners and the general public a wonderful celebration and a great new year.

SMF is focused on its music productions and the businesses with its partners as well as promotions of our new dancehall act, 'Vybrant Faya'. The general public is hereby invited to our maiden Live Dancehall Concert at the Alajo High Street on 27th December 2014. We promise the fans more vibrant music in the coming years.
