The maiden edition of “The Creatives “Art show took place over the weekend at Afrikiko Leisure Center. On display were artworks including portraits, oil painting, sculpture and Jewelries by both established and emerging artists.

Participants of the show sold their works and also networked with other artists and patrons who made it to the show.

For Redeemer K. Dorbu , Director of Muggs Jewellery Ghana Ltd , the event was a significant foundation for his work , “ for me as an artist , I feel relevant to the system now because it was my maiden outdoor show outside school.”

“My expectations have been confirmed, I have learned what more I have to do to be more competitive and I have joined the league of practicing artists in Ghana. The show has added a sense of validation to my work.” He adds.

Emmanuel Amoateng Ababio , an artist had this to say , “I think it was cool, very encouraging, met new people… lots of advice and learnt a lot above all it was good.”

Nunana Awoonor , Director of NVA Marketing and Promotions , organizers of the show believes that the idea behind the show was met, “ we are grateful to all the artists who showcased their amazing work.
