TV3 Network surely wants to remain on top as the 'Best In Entertainment by being the first TV station in Ghana to put up a show of Nine Lessons and Carols to precede the Christmas celebrations and also to 'tell how Christ was born.'

The event came off on Thursday, December 4, at the Ring Way Assemblies of God church in Accra, and attracted many personalities in the religion, political and entrepreneurial sectors.

They included: the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon. Dzifa Gomashie; Professor Kojo Yankah, Board Chairman of TV3; Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni-Frimpong, General Secretary of the Christian Council; Nana Akufo Addo, 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and many others.

Winner of the 2014 Ghana's Most Beautiful contest, Abigail Baciara Bantie, was there with some of the contestants.

There were over seven (7) singing groups and individual singers who were present, and gave some melodious tunes, keeping the audience on their feet throughout the 2-hour ceremony.

The groups included: Akoo, winner of 2013 'Celebrations' contest organized by TV3; the Association of Methodist Church Choir; the Basel Choir of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana; the Herald of Praises from Legon; Amamreso Choir; Tweenies, winner of the 2014 Talented Kids show by TV3 and Akos, winner of 2014 TV3 Mentor show.

The first Bible reading was done by Rev. Dr. Opuni, and was taken from the Book of Genesis chapter 3 verses 17,18 and 19. The Bible reading followed after some song ministration and the second Bible reading was done by Hon. Dzifa Gomashie, who also read from the Book of Genesis chapter 22 verses 15 to 18.

The third Bible reading was done by Mrs. Nicholina Ano Adjei, Corporate Affairs manager of TV3. She read from the Book of Isaiah chapter 9 verses 3 to 6.

Baci read the fourth lesson from the Book of Isaiah, after which there were song ministrations.

Father Joseph, Assistant Parish Priest of Christ the King Church read the 6th lesson from the Book of Luke chapter 2 verses 1- 7, followed by Nana Akufo Addo who read the seventh lesson also from the Gospel of Luke chapter 32 verses 8 to 16.

The event was recorded and would be aired on TV3 in a week's time for viewers to enjoy. Another show of its kind would be put up soon, according to the organizers of the show.
