Berla Mundi Rates Television Awards Ghana Over RTP

GHone TV's entertainment news caster Berla Mundi has disclosed her judgments concerning the 4th and maiden edition of RTP and Television Awards Ghana respectively.

Berla, who attended both award ceremonies, was confident and steady of her submissions despite acknowledging the fact that the Radio and Television Personality Awards [RTP] has already seen three editions and has been embraced by most Ghanaians.

The ace broadcaster expressed her displeasure with the nomination lists and awardees of the RTP awards.

According to the fab journalist, a number of personalities were not eligible for certain criterion of the nomination lists as well as some of the award winners and somewhat, the organization of the ceremony was substandard; specifically with the time of event commencement.

“Attending the RTP awards ceremony was my first of its fourth and it was obvious there were certain lapses with the nomination lists and the award winners. We expected much from the organizers since they have already spearheaded three editions already but they could not avoid repeating similar flaws they made in previous editions”

Berla Mundi also attested to the technical hitches experienced at the maiden edition of the Television Awards Ghana in relation to the display of nominees but explained it is pardonable since it is the first of its kind, unlike the RTP.

“Despite the technical hitches with the display of nominees for public view at certain points, it is comprehensible because it is the first edition and in my point of view, I'd say the event was awesome; much more than what we expected”

Although trying to sway from fisting a punch but relenting eventually, she confirmed the Television Awards Ghana which occurred at the National Theatre on Friday, October 10, 2014 was better organized than the RTP by rating in percentage - marks of 90% to 50%.

“I'll say the Television Awards Ghana was awesome than we anticipated and in comparison to the Radio and Television Personality Awards, I'll rule 90% to 50% in favour of the Television Awards Ghana”

Berla Addadey as in private life told the secret of how her broadcaster was able to take home four awards at the Television Awards Ghana.

“The secret is when you work very hard in whatever you do, the Almighty God will turn the drizzle into rain and your efforts will never go unrewarded” – she finally stated.
