E.TV Ghana has introduced some new exciting programmes as part of efforts to boost the television station's viewership.

According to Naomi Nelson, Head of Corporate Communications at Global Media Alliance, the changes in programmes are as a result of the feedback they have been receiving from their viewers about some of the things they want to see on the station.

'These changes are coming at the back of a lot of consumer and client insights and research. Our viewers and sponsors are the backbone of our station. Through a lot of focus group discussions, they have told us what they want to see on the station,' she stated.

The programmes, which will be rolled out in October, include 'Y-TV', 'Star Talk' and 'Wats-Up TV'.

She explained that 'Y-TV' would feature the celebrity line-up of presenters and activities of YFM . 'Friday Night With Foster', which incidentally has been nominated for an award, can now start airing at 8:30pm on Fridays.

''Awake' has new segments introduced to spice up the show. One of the station's flagship programmes, 'WWE', also makes it unto the 6pm-10pm prime time belt with branded segments on different days,' she said.

She added that some existing programmes like 'The Late Night Celebrity Show' would now have two new hosts—radio presenter Giovanni Caleb and Vanessa Gyan.
