Jimmy Jean Louis, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Van Vicker, Akorfa, Wale Ojo Others At Lydia Forson Premiere

Some of the crème de la crème of Africa's movie industry came out in their numbers to support award winning actress Lydia Forson when she premiered of her first produced movie, A Letter From Adam on Friday.

The premiering ceremony was held at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall and in attendance were Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Reggie Rockstone, Van Vicker, Elikem, Sandra Ankobiah, Manifest, Pascal Amanfo, Irene Opare and a host others including the cast.

The surprise of the evening was Haitian born American actor Jimmy Jean Louis who also showed up on the red carpet.

A Letter From Adam is a romantic drama directed by Atlanta-based Ghanaian director, Sam Kessie and produced and written by, Lydia Forson.

It is a contemporary story about love, loss and hope that will draw audiences into a realistic cycle of life seen through the pain of loss, the journey of self discovery and the courage and strength to find hope in the face of adversity. Set in the busy yet simple city of Accra, A Letter From Adamseeks to give the audience an often neglected truth about love - that love doesn't always come in the form one expects it to.

It stars Lydia Forson, Nollywood's Wale Ojo, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Akorfa Edjeani, Albert Jackson, Jeff Kumordzie, Louie Lartey, Fred Kanebi and a number of other new faces.

Lydia earlier downplayed claims that the story had got something to do with her personal life.

Meanwhile the premiere had an encouraging patronage on Friday. Most movie audiences who watched the movie found the story educative.

It subsequently premiered on Saturday Weija branch of Silverbird Cinemas and will still show in the cinemas in the upcoming weeks.
