If there was any guest at the recently-held Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) Grand Ball who had a cause to celebrate, then it was the Chief Executive of Tigo Ghana, Roshi Motman. And rightly so, Ghana's first female telecom CEO in Ghana's highly competitive telecom sector is on a transformational journey with Tigo Ghana – rebuilding it to gain lost grounds and lead on innovation.

The event which took place at the Banquet Hall, State House in Accra brought together lovers and patrons of Ghanaian music to support a worthy course – raise funds to support the Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWEF) of MUSIGA.

For Roshi, the joy of leading a new team with a new vision and drive could not have been a more tempting reason to let go her worries and exhibit her dancing skills during the night. Having been recently-appointed to head the operations of Tigo Ghana, Roshi is very much aware of the task ahead and the impressive performance of her team resulting from the gelling effect she has brought to the team provided enough excuse to celebrate.

Leading the pack of renowned Hi-Life musicians who provided vintage Ghanaian music to the crowd was Nana Kwame Ampadu. Other performers included K.K. Yeboah, Kofi Sammy, A.B. Crentsil, Papa Yankson, and the evergreen Abrantee Amakye Dede.

Also on the bill was the suave-singing Kwabena Kwabenawho added a tinge of brought contemporary taste to the delight of the night revelers.

Tigo surprised the guest for the night with high end giveaways including Samsung S5, HTC 1, Blackberry Q10, High speed internet modems, Airtime and hampers.
