Aduanaba Kofi Asante Ennin, Host of Nhyira FM's Morning Show, dubbed 'Kroyimu Nsem' is now the toast of listeners of radio in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital, where he has been dominating the airwaves.

The University of Cape Coast (UCC) graduate, who has command over the English and Twi languages, is also the host of 'Kukurantumi' a political talk show aired on the airwaves of Nhyira FM in the morning on Saturdays.

Kofi Asante's name and popularity has been soaring in the media landscape in the Garden City and beyond for some time now due to the high sense of professionalism that he always exhibits on the airwaves.

The famous broadcast journalist is blessed with scintillating voice which sends his listeners into calmness. He is also noted and applauded for his impartiality especially when it comes to politics.

Kofi Asante is a product of Morris Journalism Academy in Australia and he is currently pursuing a degree in Communication Studies at the Christian Service University College (CSUC) in Kumasi.

Scores of people in Kumasi who spoke with BEATWAVES showered praises on Kofi Asante over his professionalism and hard work which have helped to uplift the image of radio in the region.

Kofi, who says he is ready for the market said, “In radio broadcasting, you are communicating with people, so you must have a good command over both English and some local languages. You must be well-educated to impart the right kind of knowledge. It is my duty to use radio to educate listeners on issues affecting their day-to-day activities.'

Kofi Asante has been the host of 'Kukurantumi' on Nhyira FM for three years running. The energetic-looking journalist started his radio profession in 2008 and he has never looked back.

He is the Executive Director of Oxford Institute of Acting and Journalism in Kumasi, which trains people on the modern ways of film acting and how to be a professional journalist.
