One of Ghana's  most popular radio programs, “Adom Live Worship”, hosted by Kwamena Idan on Adom 106.3 FM has won the Radio program and DJ of the year Awards at the African Gospel Music Awards (AGMA).

The event was held on Sunday, August 24 at the Fairfield Halls Concert Hall in Croydon, UK.

Kwamena Idan received a plaque of honour aside other  great competitors in that category while gospel musician, Sonnie Badu won The “Event of the Year” category.

The African Gospel Music Awards (AGMA) recognizes and celebrates talent, originality and success of gospel artistes and media-related individuals and organizations all around Africa.

Since the inception of AGMA, other  Ghanaian gospel artistes such as Akesse Brempong, KODA and Ohemaa Mercy have earned nominations in the various categories in the past years.

Adom Live Worship takes off every Monday – Friday from 2pm to 3pm on Adom FM.

Other winners at the event include:
Male Artiste of the year – Cwesi Oteng.
West African artiste of the year - Cwesi Oteng.
Female artiste of the year  - Diana Hamilton.
Producer of the year – KODA.
Discovery of the year – Akesse Brempong.
