Fast rising singer, Dee Kay who is currently touring the US and Canada alongside Davido and the other HKN Gang members, has promised his growing fans of a new hit song soon! Dubbed, 'Repete', the single is produced by hit maker and HKN producer, Shizzi who's known for hits like 'Dami Duro', 'Ekuro' and 'Gobe'.

DeeKay, who is also making personal appearances, mixing and mastering songs has also been meeting US industry people such as 5-time Grammy nominee, Ryan West and Nigel Mack among others. 'Expect nothing but great stuff, we are working hard and making moves to bring Africa and the world the best', he assures fans.

Deekay is a true artist in every sense of the word. From his catchy melodious harmonies and hooks to his intellect provoking lyrics and stylistic dance moves , DeeKay is the whole package. A performance artist - singer , rapper , songwriter and dancer.

Born Dennis King, DeeKay is half Ghanaian and half Nigerian. He was born into a family of five children where strong spirituality and education was a priority. Growing up in both Nigeria and Ghana, Dennis excelled in sports, such as , basketball becoming the MVP of his school for two years in a row. He also enjoyed playing football. It was also around this time that he began honing his performance skills and also served as the leader of the choreography team.

While attending University, DeeKay then known by his former stage name of Arlaylay participated in the Channel O Sprite Mcee Africa competition, performed at annual fashion shows, homecoming (akwaba), and all the hall weeks on and off campus. After graduating from Takoradi Polytechnic with a degree in Building Technology and fueled by the positive and passionate responses to his early freestyles and music by his peers , DeeKay took the bold stance to pursue music full time.

He partnered with a friend, Big Dele of Impeccable Entertainment and began working his various freestyles and songs within the Ghanaian market. It was then at a chance meeting with the young African superstar , David "Davido" Adeleke that the start of DeeKay's relationship with Davido HKN music began. Noticed for not only his musical talents but also for his dancing abilities and character, DeeKay began to work on a collaboration for the song "High Fever" with Davido.

Released in early 2013 , "High Fever" was excitedly received by old fans and new fans alike. The various textures of the song and vivid lyrics made the song an instant hit. It was marked by a capacity filled autograph signing and release on location in Accra, Ghana. Soon thereafter, DeeKay dropped "Aunty Araba". An equally attention catchy piece with not only lyrics but moments of flowing melodies as well that further generated interest in him as an evolved artist.

Most recently, DeeKay has been touring and collaborating with his label mates at HKN music. He has appeared in numerous Davido and HKN music artists' music videos as well as videos of other industry colleagues. Fresh off of a highly successful Davido and HKN Gang tours in US , UK, Europe, as well as numerous African countries, and various award shows.

Fans should expect dynamic music and energy from DeeKay as he is set to release his first official dance single out of HKN and music video to "Repete". DeeKay further hints: 'You can expect songs that display my versatility as an artist; seamlessly crossing and melting the boundaries of Afro-Pop, Hip hop, RnB, and Pop. Music is LIFE, it is the way I find best to express myself and illustrate my inner thoughts and feelings".
