The Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) will once again host the best of the most hilarious comedians on the continent at the 18 th edition of 1018 Laughs and Music on August 2, 2014.
The organisers of the event, Charter House, have promised nothing short of endless laughter, as all the comedians have hinted on making the show an exciting one.
Okey Bakasi, the undisputed Nigerian comedian, would be making an appearance on the night. Patrons would have a good laugh as he promises to leave the night with his name etched on the memories of the audience.
The gifted Bovi, a comedian known for his natural flair on stage, makes another appearance after his astounding show a some years back, where he made a great impression. Bovi returns to the night with exceptionally witty jokes.
Another comedian for the night of 1018 Laughs and Music is the ever-uproarious Funny Bone, who has been phenomenal on several stages, earning for himself many titles.
Dan D' Humurous is another vibrant comedian with appeal across the globe. He always leaves his audience screaming and asking for more.
The artistes billed for the night include the highlife legend Nana Tuffour, who would bring the stage to life with some good inspiring highlife from the West, whilst Wiyalla and Akwaboah would keep it young, fresh and soulful.
Being the 18 th in the series of the comedy night show, the organisers promise to ensure that the show lives up to its reputation and leave its audience with many anecdotes to laugh at months after the show is over.
This year, patrons can look forward to even more entertainment as organisers prepare to pull all the stops in commemoration of the 18 th edition of the series. Tickets are selling now at Charter House, X-Men, and MTN offices in Osu and Accra Mall for only GH ¢70 standard and GH ¢150 premium.
