Ghanaian rapper and Afropop star, EL, has been given an enviable spotlight on MTViggy.com, one of the major MTV platforms where his latest 'Ayaya' video is screening.

EL, who is under BBnZ record label, is currently one of the flourishing music sensations in Africa, taking his music to a whole new level.

On April 15, the international network carried an exclusive article on EL titled, 'No One Pushes Afropop Forward Like E.L,' by Alexis Stephens. The article positioned the tall musician as one of the most influential voices in Afropop music arena in the past years.

EL talked about his beginning and exploits in the African music industry as well as his contribution to Azonto, which has gained worldwide attention.

'My boys are crazy. When it comes to the terms that we use, the language we speak, the issues we address, that's what I always try to put into my music, because that's my identity and where I come from. 'I fell in love with rapping first and then with making the music. At that time there was no one in my area who could make the beats that I wanted. We didn't even have access to good internet back then. I made beats to support my rap habit,' EL said about his decision to produce music as well.

'I ran out of beats after a while. It came to a point in time where everyone was at my studio. They come back-to-back. When an artist comes to me, I try to listen to their other music and try to exponentially raise their creativity level and the way they rap or sing on my beats. When you come to E.L's studio, you're not going to leave with an inferior product. You're going to leave with something that's going to take you to the next level, ' he added.

EL has just returned from the United States of America, where he put up a number of performances for his fanbase there.
