The Easter season is celebrated worldwide to remind Christians about the death and the resurrection of Christ.

In Ghana, the Easter festival has become a national festival during which a large number of music lovers, tourists from other parts of the world and citizenry of Kwahu journey towards the Kwahu mountains to commemorate the day.

Year after year, the Kwahu Easter fiesta is getting bigger and better, and Ghanaians have come to accept the festival as a national event.

To further improve on the festival this year, Airtel Money, Adom FM and Alomo Bitters have decided to join in this year's celebration.

According to Lawrence Tamakloe of the Events and Promotions Desk of Adom FM, on Thursday, April 17, there would be a musical jam with Alomo Bitters at the Linda D'or, as people would gather to climb the mountain.

He told BEATWAVES in a chat that on Friday, April 18 (Good Friday), the Eastern Palace Bar at Atibie would come alive with the Akwaaba Bash which would feature highlife greats like K.K Fosu, Daasebre Dwamena and sensational Kofi B.

On Saturday morning, April 19, there would be an inter-community football gala at Obomeng Presby Park and Edziban, Dzidzi with Alomo Bitters at the Eastern Palace.

He further explained that there would be a street carnival on Saturday day night which would witness performances from Stone Bwoy, Pop Skinny, Guru, Castro, among others at the Obomeng High Street to entertain music fans and the entire citizenry of Kwahu.

On Sunday morning, April 20, Adom FM and Airtel Money would host Omo Tuo Special with Club Beer as well as highlife Agogo dance featuring George Darko, Pat Thomas and Nana Acheampong at the Eastern Palace, Atibie.
