Not so long ago, there has been sounds banging “ Songs in the night” and upon trying to know what it's all about, a name popped up “Akesse Brempong” who was deep into preparations for the release for his debut album – Songs in the Night. Glory be to God for great and mighty things He has done. The album release Concert came off Sunday, 6th April 2014 at the Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC) – Dansoman SSNIT Flats.

Just at exactly 4pm, all was set for the concert to take off and surprisingly enough, the number that trooped in at the venue was likely to cause a stampede because all could not wait to catch a glimpse of the set up for the night. The Concert commenced with a tremendous choir ministration by E'mpraise Incorporated preparing God's people in the mood of readiness and with much expectations of what would be next. Right afterwards, the MC for the night, Fifi Folson humbly invited Eugene Zuta up the stage.

As the minister began his ministration, the auditorium was already filled with the thick presence of God. Eugene Zuta took the congregation to an even more intense place of worship with his sweet vocal delivery of his tune “WOSO”, where everybody in the place felt of touching the sky. As if that was not enough, Braa Kweku known for all arts came in with his dynamic poetic ministration leaving all in the state of astonishment appreciating the gift for the night – “Songs in the Night”.

The man behind the reason for the night, making Ghana proud with his hit single “Crazy Love” taken a seat at the number 10 spot of Gospel Innovation's world top 20 Gospel Chart, Akesse Brempong came in also with his initial ministrations , charging the whole auditorium. Then after, Cwesi Oteng, a prolific songwriter and inspirational icon with a unique brand took up the stage. His performance on “God Dey Bless Me” swept the audience of their feet all to the glory of God. The concert also featured the like of Qhakrah, Sollo, Fafa, Esaias as well as the next generation gospel ministers and many others.

Act after act, song after song, note after note, it would be incomplete if Akesse Brempong didn't perform his most-liked and hit single – “Crazy Love” which left many yearning for more but almost five hours in the concert was enough making it a memorable one which definitely would impact generations.
