Lovers of quality television programming in the Koforidua metropolis and its environs now have a lot to cheer about as GOtv Ghana Limited launched its GOtv service, an exciting and quality family entertainment brand in Koforidua on Thursday 27th March 2014.

GOtv is the first operator in Ghana to launch a DVB-T2 digital pay TV service, one of the most advanced DTT broadcast systems and infrastructure established globally, giving viewers the true definition of digital broadcast.

Positioned as a quality family entertainment provider, GOtv provides subscribers with a variety of exciting content ranging from news, movies, sports, fashion, music, kids, current affairs, documentaries to series. GOtv subscribers can choose from two bouquet options, GOtv and GOtv Plus, both packed with exciting local and international channels designed to keep viewers entertained from news, children's programming, documentaries, series, movies and sports. A total of 37 channels are available to GOtv Plus subscribers whilst GOtv subscribers can access a total of 22 channels.

The complete GOtv is being offered for GHS140 and includes a GOtv decoder, GOtenna (outdoor antenna) and 1 month subscription to GOtv Plus. Once the one month GOtv Plus subscription is up, subscribers have the option of continuing with GOtv Plus or downgrade to GOtv.

Entertainment, Discovery World, SuperSport Select, SuperSport Blitz, eTV Africa, Vox Africa, Blackbelt, Kidsco, Nickelodeon, Al Jazeera and CNN, Channel O.

In 2013, GOtv subscribers enjoyed an extensive and live coverage of key events which included the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil, the African Cup of Nations Cup in South Africa, the AfricaMagic Viewer's Choice Awards in Nigeria and the 2013 Channel O Africa Music Video Awards held in South Africa.
