Female Rap Sensation; Splash Shoots New Video In South Africa & Eyes Ghana As The Next Stop

Genevieve Ogbuewu otherwise known as Splash is the latest rap sensation dominating Nigeria's hardcore rap music industry.

With her unique rap talent and infectious beauty, she knows no boundary as she is gradually meandering her way through to the forefront of African music.

She is considered fresh and new but she is fast growing to grace than expected.

Splash's official first single was titled Church Agbasa and its video made enviable rotation on major Nigerian platforms last year.

This year, she is returning even bigger with her new single, titled Ego Uwa, which literally means, World Wealth.

Before its release, plans are already afoot to penetrate into other countries including Ghana and South Africa.

The sexy rapper left Nigeria on Saturday February 8 evening for South Africa with her crew to work on the video for the unreleased single.

The video will be directed by talented African music video director, Godfather, and the video shoot will take place at various locations in Jo'burg, South Africa.

Indications are that helicopter will be used to film the major part of the shoot.

Splash is signed to BMG which is made up of Richmond as CEO and Smart the record label chairman.

The young rapper hails from Ebonyi State Nigeria and holds a degree in English Language from Ebonyi State University.

She hopes to collaborate with some of Ghana's rappers, but she is yet to drop names.
