Becca's 'Girl Talk' concert to hit National Theatre December 20

Sultry songstress Rebecca Acheampong, known on stage as Becca is set to host the the third edition of her Girl Talk concert at the National Theatre on December 20.

The concert, which is an all-girl concert, was launched Monday, December 10 at a press soiree at the Printex shop, West Airport.

Organizers of the concert,  EKB Records has in the past editions had a difficult time keeping guys at bay from the all female event.

Past editions of the 'Becca Girl Talk' have witnessed thrilling performances from several renowned artistes including Kwabena Kwabena, M.I, Samini, Trigmatic and Nana Ama McBrown.

There have also been surprised appearances by Funny Face, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Kofi Okyere Darko (K.O.D), and rapper D Black.

During the launch of this year's concert, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Hon (Mrs.) Dzifa Gomashie, said in a short speech that, she believed in Becca's vision and brand as an artiste as well as her style of dressing which emphasises decency and portrays women in a positive light.

According to her, Becca was a good inspiration to young women and older women alike.

Becca, also speaking at the launch, appreciated the media's support for the 'Girl Talk' brand since its inception two years ago.

She noted that, she and her team, in spite of the numerous challenges that come with organizing such events, have stayed focused on using the concert to motivate ladies to believe in themselves and have faith that their dreams are achievable.

The African Woman revealed that the theme for this year's concert was “Love” and explained that, “learning to love ourselves as women is the ultimate thing because we can't give what we don't have."
