ASEM has once again showcased his lyrical and song writing abilities. After the untimely death of President of Ghana H.E Prof J.E.A Mills, it was expected that the creative industry will pay tribute to his life and legacy. One who has lead the chart in being creative in the form of a tribute song is the BYE BYE hit maker ASEM.
Asem talked about the song which he's titled “DEAR JOHN” ( Damirifa Due ) which he featured Ace highlife legend PAT THOMAS. ASEM added he wrote the song in celebration of the late presidents life and good deeds and its more of a cheer song rather than a dirge. He said his choice in collaborating with PAT THOMAS was to help the song break generational barriers.
