All lovers of erstwhile Ghanaian music duo Irene and Jane should keep their fingers crossed as all is not over with collaborations between the two musicians. The collaboration might just not come under the name “Irene and Jane”.
Ghanaian music sensation, Efya, who was speaking to Focus FM's Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific) on the Focus Citi show said the duo really had a lot going and that her career would probably have been bigger than it is now with their collaboration.
Miss Jane Awindor as she is known outside the realms of entertainment says fans should look out for her new album “Love Genesis” in three months. She mentions “best in me” and “get away” as some of the tracks that would feature on the upcoming album.
She revealed to DJ Scientific that the song “Best In Me” was written by Akwaba.
Asked about the contribution of music reality shows to the industry, she says “it gave us Kaakie, so we are cool”.
