Beautiful face, finest skin, Brobdingnagian breasts, intuitive, submissive, jovial, God-fearing, outgoing and a Pisces born. These are the best integers to describe Miss Belinda Sefakor Dzata; one of the most promising actresses in the Ghanaian acting fraternity. Born in the 80's, she holds a BA in Business Management and Computer Studies from the Wisconsin University. As a character who always personifies entertainment with her naturally artistic propensities, Belinda has always been the center of attraction in the midst of any human gathering. “Am jovia but I respond to 'Belinda you're mad'” she added.
Exhibiting her artistic prowess as early as age 4, Belinda started performing theatrical performances in her primary school days as well as wrote and performed numerous poems for Kidafest and Funworld; one of Ghana's ever thrilling kids entertainment television program in the 90's. Born to win, one of Belinda's poems won the overall best poem award organized by Funworld. Considering the maturity and strong theme of the poem, the organizers of the program had to use Belinda's poem as the opening message montage on the television screen before the young male and female hosts, gave their introductory lines.
As a person who began stage acting at age 4, Belinda started auditioning for onscreen acting roles at age 10. Oblivious of her acting abilities, she was utterly scorned and never given a role until 2003 when Revele Films, one of the internationally acclaimed Ghanaian film makers; discovered her in one of their auditions. She was casted for the role of a nurse for the then “Home Sweet Home” television series. In no time, her fame started soaring. The CEO of Venus Film, Mr. Abdul Salam Mumuni “movie stars maker” welcomed her into his production outfit.
Since then, she has featured in Venus Films block buster movies such as Beyounce, Chelsea, 4 Play, Strippers, The Prince Bride and Elmina by Revele Films and still counting. Currently, Belinda is the fat gluttonous female maidservant character in Venus Film production's television series on Viasat 1 called; The 5 Brides. Being the cynosure of all fans she hope to take acting as a full time job someday; versatile with a multi-tasking-spirit Belinda does not only work as an actress but also works as an Events Manager with West Coast Entertainment. As a good team player, she was pivotal in playing a crucial role to the successful execution of Miss Ghallywood, the first ever Ghanaian beauty pageant for budding actresses; organized by West Coast Entertainment.
