
Nancilyma Aidoo was born in Kumasi, West Africa Ghana. She attended middle school at Vicandi international school and graduated from Aquinas high school in 2010. She is currently enrolled in Syracuse University as a Math/pre S med major student with minors in Chemistry and Biology. She participated in various community service events and also took part in a fundraising event raising money for children with cleft lip. Because of her love for children, Nancilyma Aidoo wants to dedicate her life to protecting the health of children.
Raised in a Christian Family, Nancilyma was instilled with morals and ethics and her message to young ladies like herself is that "We live by Faith, not by sight. In everything you do, have faith that God will always push you through only if you believe so." She shares that her main values are hard work, discipline, courage and determination.
Nancilyma Aidoo wants to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. She hopes that competing for the title of Miss New Jersey 2012 will allow her to explore many opportunities and in advance use this title to bring about healthcare changes in Ghana.
