I am not dating Adebayor; I'm not pregnant for him - Yvonne Okoro

Ghanaian actress Yvonne Okoro has categorically refuted reports that she is dating Togolese and Tottenham Hotspur football star, Emmanuel Adebaoyor.

News went viral on several websites and media platforms that the bubbly actress is secretly dating the football star and maybe pregnant for him.

Some sites alleged that the striker splashed a whopping US$74,000 on a new Mercedes Benz C Class facelift edition for the actress.

The Adams Apples actress, however, took to social networking site, Twitter Thursday denying the reports stating she was neither dating the footballer nor was she pregnant for him.

“Didnt wnt 2 coment bt wil b fair 2 my fans n I state categorically I am nt pregnant,n am nt datin Adebayor nor did he buy a car 4 me#settled,” she tweeted.

The actress was quoted to have once said she knew Emmanuel Adebayor but had no amorous relationship with him.

“I know Adebayor but he's just a friend, he's not my man. I've my own guy and I can tell you that Adebayor is not my man," she was quoted to have said.

Yvonne Okoro, born to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, made her screen debut in 2002 with Sticking to the Promise, and has been linked with several high-profile relationships, all turning out to be false.

In 2010, she won Best Actress in a Leading Role at Ghana Movie Awards and was nominated for Best Actress at the African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) twice in a row - 2011 and 2012 - for her movies Pool Party and Single Six.
