
Atumpan is launching his new album "Afro Invasion" this week at London and Holland. He intends to do a bigger launch in Ghana in a few months.
His new album comprises fourteen songs including all his singles, two instrumentals and a remix of "the thing", featuring Kabum and Donaeo.
Frank Elinam Cobbinah, as he is known outside the entertainment arena was speaking to Focus FM's Kwame Poku (DJ Scientific)
on the Focus citi show at the weekend about his forthcoming album. His new single "bomeka" was the song of the week on the Top 10@10 music countdown; a segment of the show.
He says his new song "bomeka" is a "swag song telling the ladies that the guys are ready to spend on them".
Asked why he is launching his album outside the country, Atumpan said he wants his fans outside Ghana to also enjoy what residents in Ghana are enjoying.
He attributes his success to hard work and determination.
He commended Sarkodie on his BET award saying that he has blazed a trail such that members of the international community are eager to listen to what Ghana has to offer.
