Producer Chases Ghanaian Actress Indgrid Alabi To Amsterdam

By NEWS-ONE

Adorable Ghanaian actress Ingrid Alabi is playing a lead role in Roger Q Productions' upcoming love movie with the working titled 'Testing The Waters'.

It is a high budget movie, according to sources and Ingrid is playing the role of a beautiful young lady who is in a fix about selecting one of her two extreme lovers.

She is currently on the movie's set in Italy.
Reports from the set said Ingrid was doing marvelously well and her fans should watch out for her.

The ex- beauty queen is one of the few interesting actresses who have not been too consistent in Ghana's movie industry. This is mostly due to schooling or travelling for her private business.

Her role in the upcoming movie is once again being described as a comeback role, several months after reports of an earlier comeback in 'Innocent Sin' starring John Dumelo and Nadia Buari.

There were rumuors that Roger Quartey had been chasing Ingrid for the upcoming movie for a long time but to no avail because she was always not in Ghana.

The producer had to use his international links to finally get the actress from her Amsterdam hideout to his set in Italy.

The beautiful actress is one of the few business-oriented screen beauties. It is gradually becoming obvious that her private business and travelling is taking the shine off her acting career.

But close sources to her told NEWS-ONE that she was bouncing back for a full time or serious acting career this time round.

Indeed, Ingrid is not a new face on the movie scene and has played roles in a number of movies.

She is great a talent who brings freshness to the screens. 'Playboy' is one movie that brought her a lot of shine.

She had a stint with Ghana's movie industry in 2007 via Venus Film's 'Tears Of Woman.'

Subsequently, she played roles in the 'Playboy', alongside actresses Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Nana Ama McBrown and Pascaline Edward. She also appeared in 'Girls Connection' and 'Prince Bride'.
