Happy fm Insult’s Channel R As A Stinking Station

The nature of this week's edition of happy fm's entertainment program, Showbiz Xtra, hosted by veteran broadcaster, Dr Cann is one that if we enliven in our art and entertainment industry, will breed antagonism and feud between and amongst us. (WWW.GhanaSuperStars.Com)

On the high table of the program was a review of “music recording studios that stinks”, a strong unbiased article published in the most authoritative entertainment newspaper in Ghana, FLEX NEWSPAPER. Mr. Samuel A. Baah, who doubles as the writer of the story as well as the Managing Editor of FLEX NEWSPAPER dissected the issue with mustered maturity by stating that the objective of the story is not to disgrace any music recording studio but to advice them to keep their studios clean, fresh, tidied, welcoming and healthy for themselves and their clients. He also promised, come next week, the newspaper will give clue on the alleged stinking studios so make sure you grab a copy.

Taking the baton from Sammy, the unfledged Sally who is also a regular panelist on the program veered off the topic under discussion “music recording studios that stinks” to rather, “radio studios that stinks”. Sally's revealing bucal cavity declared chillily and I quote; “Channel R is one studio that is too stuffy. Their studio stinks. I was once there and it was extremely suffocating staying in the studio”. Meanwhile, on the day Sally went to Channel R, she went there as a media coordinator to promote the just ended Kerry Hilson and Bow Wow concert free of charge.( For More Visit WWW.GhanaSuperStars.Com)

Irrespective of the host's caution at her to season her words fell on deaf ears as Sally kept on ranting. Sally's comments got so hostile that, an Executive from Channel R called into the program to explain that on the day Sally visited Channel R studios; the studio was under a small maintenance works hence, the untied environment of the studio as well as the studio's air condition being off.

Most text messages and phone calls from fans of the program chastised Sally for her unsavory words but the adamant Sally stood still on her grounds. “I apologies if people are not happy with my comments but what I said is true. If they dare me I have more to say”- Sally apologized. Is that how to apologize?

This same Sally has been sacked twice on the same program all because of her frivolous and lousy comments on most entertainment issues yet, Happy fm finds her as the only personage female in our entertainment industry to be on the show. Since she sat on Happy fm's platform and emitted those words, Happy fm as a corporate body is equally indicted as far as her comments brings an industrial feud between Chanel R and Happy fm as competitors.

We at www.GhanaSuperStars.com strongly believe Sally behaved in a rather infantile conduct with those cold words. Management of Happy fm must write a formal apology letter to management of Channel R to distance themselves from Sally's conduct as well as apologize on her behalf since pomposity did not allow her to give a proper apology on air.
