Eviction Sunday night was solemn as the Ghanaian-Nigerian Bible-hugging Harriet aka Herty was voted out of the house. Surprising! I guess Jesus was not thrilled with her performance. She had seemed in control only last week when she shared a date night with the King. She was also queen for a week and did manage a few moves to impress the King. She had been called caring and hardworking and still the very first to go topless in the house - a strange mix. After all that she managed to get herself nominated and failed to beat my choice of evictee, Blay, who ended up staying.
Jay has not been on the list yet and it is not clear whether it was her unfaithfulness that earned her an ejection (I didn't think that was possible) after it was discovered that she kissed the trouble making Harry but that's another story in itself. I had seen her cornering Harry and monopolizing him in a way that was hard to understand. Now we know why.
The reign of Becky did bring some surprises with the prominent one being the Jane Saga. I nearly jumped out of my skin when Jane was admitted back into the house to join the girls. What was Bomaye thinking? She had clearly cheated even before she won the man; she had demonstrated that she could not manage three weeks without a man and hence would jump into bed with any Harry that walked through the door. Bomaye was away for barely 24 hours and she could not stand it.
But as Gifty put it, if Harry had stayed in the house longer, almost everyone would have slept with him. Well, if that is something to go by then Promzy is just as guilty as she had been caught red handed going on a date with Harry. All of these must have landed Bomaye in confusion land - no one can really be trusted. So far only Chichi seems to be standing tall.
