Ghana's gospel music industry is about to witness another sensational and inspiring music icon, Joe Dee Owusu, who has released his maiden album titled 'Onso Nyame Ye' on the music market.
For the past years, Joe Dee has been seriously working behind closed doors on his 8-track album which according to the producers, would meet the demands of music fans.
Knowing very well that it takes a mature and enlightened mind to become a great star, Joe Dee has taken his musical career very seriously.
The release of his maiden album is in fulfilment of a cherished dream in his musical career, which has all along been linked to gospel music.
Though it is his first album, Joe is no novice in the music industry, having had stints with very notable musicians.
The lyrics of the album and his good vocal power are neatly arranged with sensational and inspirational rhythms, making the album unique and pleasing to the ear.
The album, which was released recently, is making a lot of waves on both radio and TV considering the fact that although the songs are rich in lyrics, they all have interesting danceable beats.
The song ' Onso Nyame Ye' has a really nice francophone touch with a nice afro beat that will not be lost on anyone who is in an encouraging and soothing mood.
Joe Dee disclosed that he derived his inspiration from some great gospel musicians like Ernest Opoku and D.S.P Kofi Sarpong.
All the songs were written and arranged by Joe Dee Owusu and were recorded by Shy, Nacee and Akrag respectively.
