Ghanaian comedian and TV presenter, DKB has been confirmed as a celebrity housemate for this year's Big Brother Africa reality show.
This year's show dubbed Big Brother StarGame starts Sunday, May 6 and it will see housemates from 14 African countries battling it out for the prize money of US$300, 000.
DKB, known in real life as Derick Kobina Bonney, was among seven celebrities selected by the organisers to enter the house as celebrity housemates.
The six other celebrity housemates are Prezzo (Kenya), Lady May (Namibia), Goldie (Nigeria), Barbz (South Africa), Mampi (Zambia), and Roki (Zimbabwe).
There are indications that 36 housemates will be entering the Big Brother house this year. The remaining 29 housemates for this year's show will be revealed on Sunday when the show formally hits the airwaves.
There will be two houses – Upville and Downville – in this year's show.
It is remoured that the remaining two housemates for Ghana are musician, Eazzy, and fashion designer and model Keita.
In all contestants from South Africa, Nigeria, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Angola, Liberia and Sierra Leone will be vying for the ultimate prize during the 91-day reality show.
