The management of gospel songstress, Celestine Donkor has dispelled rumours making waves through the wires that she has offended the law and is currently serving a prison sentence.

The rumours were fueled by pictures that found its way onto social media sites, including facebook, about a week ago depicting the Supernatural singer in handcuffs and being escorted by two female prison officers into the prison.

Reacting to the rumour, manager and husband of the singer, Kofi Donkor, told Myjoyonline.com in an interview that, Celestine is home and that, the rumour “is not true, it can't be true, it won't be true.”

“We've also heard the same stuff. I'm told some pictures on facebook and all that but the truth of the matter is that we know about the picture, we are aware of it, I don't know who managed to get it there,” he said explaining, “It's her project, we are actually doing her new video that is supposed to be on air in some few weeks. There is nothing too serious about it; it's just a music video.”

According to Kofi Donkor, the song, Manim Nguase, is a new song from her next album which will be released later in the year. The single will be on her first ever music video compilation set to be released soon.

The video was shot at the James Fort Prison in Accra last Saturday. “There was a scene in the whole storyline where she started as a child trafficked and then later on there was a frame up and then she got herself thrown in jail so she was actually handcuffed in the midst of two prison officers and escorted into the prison, I think that is where that thing came from,” the manager narrated.

Apart fromManim Nguase, the video compilation will comprises some of Celestine's hit singles including, I Can Be Righteous, Supernatural and Adekyea Mu Nsem.

The video, Kofi, hinted will be premiered before her Celestial Praize concert scheduled to come off May 25 this year.

The award winning musician gave birth to her third child, Zarma, five months ago.
