ACE GOSPEL Musician Evangelist Diana Asamoah has chalked a memorable tenth year in the music industry and she celebrated the historic occasion with the launch of her sixth album last Sunday.

Titled ' Gospel Old Tunes Volume Two ,' the eight-track album contains music that believers can listen to in the comfort of their rooms in praise and worship of the omnipotent God.

The track has hit songs like ' Onyame Gya,' 'Yeretwi Momome' among other scintillating tracks that can send one to the dance floor.

The new album, which connoisseurs in the music industry have predicted to be an instant hit on the market, was officially launched on Sunday at the Christ Apostolic Church at Bantama in Kumasi.

The event was also used by Evangelist Asamoah to thank her creator for her tenth year in the music industry, which has so far been successful and remarkable.

The grand occasion was hugely patronized by popular musicians, politicians, business executives, family members and friends of the 36 year-old music icon.

Music stars that entertained the large number of people at the programme before Evangelist Asamoah took the centre stage included Kwaku Gyasi, Ernest Opoku, Gifty Donkoh, Mary Fokuo Agyeman, Anita Afriyie, Francisca, among others.

Dressed in an exquisite gold dress, Evangelist Asamoah was at her all-time best when she mounted the podium to sing all the eight songs on her latest track, one after the other.

Indeed Evangelist Asamoah electrified the auditorium in a manner which has not been witnessed in Kumasi in recent times; no wonder all the excited people present were seen jumping and dancing to the melodious songs that she sang with confidence amid smiles throughout her duration on stage.

Evangelist Asamoah has been a force to reckon with in the music industry ever since she emerged on the scene with her maiden ' Wo na mani gyina wo.'

The hard working musician who has chalked many enviable feats in her rich career has since followed it up with albums like ' Ma bo wo din,' 'Akoko abon,' 'Madansie nie,' 'Gospel Old Tunes Volume One' and now the latest one ' Gospel Old Tunes Volume Two.'

She has won enviable awards across the globe in the last 10 years, among which include Best Worship Artiste, Best Pentecost Artiste, Best Gospel Album and Best Artiste of the year 2008 at the Ghana Gospel Awards of Italy.

Significantly, Evangelist Asamoah has worked with Frimprince Record Label headed by Prince Frimpong, throughout her 10 years in the music industry.

Mr. Frimpong told BEATWAVES that Diana's prayerful nature and humility had contributed to her success story.

About the future, he stated that music lovers had not seen the best of Evangelist Asamoah yet, categorically stating that the ace musician would continue to bring forth scintillating and inspirational music to the glory of God.
