Ghana Music•com™ hits 10 years

Ghana Music.com is 10 years today, August 8th, 2011. Being the premiere website for the Ghanaian music industry, Ghana Music.com has definitely made its mark on the world music map over the last few years for promoting the industry worldwide.

As part of the 10th anniversary, Ghana Music.com will be giving out surprise giveaways to its numerous patrons for their unflinching loyalty to the website from now till the end of of the year.

Speaking the to founder of the website, Nii Abbey Mensah, he revealed that the ultimate giveaway will be given to the most loyal fan of the site at the end of the year. Guidelines will be posted on the website shortly.

Starting as a hobby on an old Pentium PC 10 years ago, despite difficulties with Internet connectivity and content availability, it's hard to believe that the website has entered its first decade. With all the challenges confronting the operation of the website over the years, it still continued its core objective of promoting Ghanaian music all over the world.

The founder said that in the near future, Ghana Music.com will expand the brand to incorporate other areas in the music industry. He also revealed that Ghana Music.com is currently undergoing a full revamp to reflect current trends.
