Concert-goers in Accra will have the chance to see three artistes currently hot on the international scene when 233Connect and Tigo bring American R&B acts and J Holiday and Angolan sensation, Cabo Snoops to the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre next Saturday, July 30.

Saturday’s concert will also see Nigerian act KAS, whose Fimile song is becoming popular here, on stage. Local acts on the bill include Atumpan, Stay Jay, R2Bees, CHASE, Raquel and Tiffanny.

Full name Dewar Barret, the 24-year-old American singer and songwriter is best known for hit singles such as Just a Friend (2002) and Let Me Love You (2004) which won him two Billboard awards. He has released four studio albums: (2002), Turning Point (2004), Go (2007) and D.N.A. (2009).

J Holiday, 26, was born Nahum Grymes. He came into prominence in 2007 with his breakthrough hit Bed which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Cabo Snoops performed on the Big Brother Amplified stage in South Africa last May and he is becoming a well-known face with tracks like Prakatatumba and Windeck.

Sources at 233Connect indicate that all the acts are poised to do their best on the night and everything is set for an exciting show next Saturday.
