
FOLLOWING HIS outstanding performance in the Ghanaian music industry, DSP Kofi Sarpong has been tipped to win three awards at the forthcoming Ghana Music Awards slated for the Accra International Conference Centre on April 10.
DSP Kofi Sarpong has been nominated in the Gospel Artiste of the Year, Discovery of the Year and Gospel Song of the Year categories.
The nominations are the first ever for DSP Kofi Sarpong.
A large number of his fans have therefore declared their intention to vote overwhelmingly for him to win the three awards based on his outstanding performance in the gospel music industry.
DSP Kofi Sarpong is nominated with the likes of Ohemaa Mercy, Ernest Opoku, Celestine Donkor and Florence Obinim in the Gospel Artiste of the Year category.
He will also be competing with Mimi, Sarkodie, Ayigbe Edem and OJ Blaq for the Discovery of the Year award.
The Gospel Song of the Year category has him up against Diana Hamilton, Florence Obinim, Ernest Opoku, Ohemaa Mercy and Celestine Donkor. By George Clifford Owusu
