
Ghanaian highlife musician Akwasi Opoku popularly known in music as Kwasi Pee has disclosed in an interview with Myjoyonline.com that all is set for the release of his fourth album 'Kumipreko' which he says is a step ahead of what he has done so far.
The 12 track album features artistes like Okyeame Kwame, K.K. Fosu, Squilla (Jamaican) and others. Already, four tracks from the album; 'Emereka bone', 'Asew', 'Kakabo' and 'Kumipreko' are enjoying airplay across the country. Kwasi Pee said he hope to launch the album in a mega style at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra on November 21.
Asked why he chose such a venue for the album launch, He said, “I love to do my stuffs in a classy way.”The highlife star, has four albums to his credit; 'Krokro me', 'Akonor yaa', 'Nyane me', and the current one 'Kumipreko'.He said he draws his music inspiration from daily life and other things like relationships etc.
