Aisha Bello moved from obscurity to fame, when she emerged this year's winner of Nigeria's Next Super Model 2009, she clinched the coveted crown at the 3rd edition of the contest held last Sunday November 29, 2009, at the Air Officers Mess, Victoria Island Lagos.

The contest which over the years, has become the most credible model contest in the country was well attended by celebrities and fashion buffs who witnessed an evening of green glitz as depicted by the dress code and the green carpet.
15 contestant strutted their stuff on the runway in designs of Prince Akoni Oyefusi president of FADAN, (Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria) Frank Oshodi and bikinis by Patience Please.

Judges for the evening included; chief judge Deon Redman creative director of Africa fashion international, Tewa Onasanya of exquisite magazine and Moris Colins creative director of advertising giant JWT for West Africa, Remi Diagbare Editor of Allure Vanguard amongst others.

According to Joan Okorodudu owner of Nigeria's Nest Super Model, Aisha Bello winner of NNSM 2009 got a brand new car from KIA, and along with her 1st and 2nd runners-up Tope and Temi, got tickets to London and New York from Virgin Atlantic, I pod from Anabel, a phone with airtime from Multilinks. The three finalists for this year will get; A 6 page spread with FAB magazine UK, a spot at the New York Fashion week and a contract with ISIS models Johannesburg South Africa.
Sponsorship consideration for this year's event was by Virgin Atlantic, Amigos and Power Horse.
