SEP 19, 2014 LISTEN

Virgil we know are held on Fridays which happens to be the beginning of weekend. This is to enable the worshipers to relax the next day which is Saturday.

Well, for those who might not have the time at night to attend the gathering of the brethren, some celebrities have helped organize bible reading and inspirational messages on the social media for their fans soul upliftment.

Actor Femi Jacobs and singer Waje, took some time out to urge their fans that no matter what they might be going through, they should always remember that God is always there to see them through all challenges.

Here is Femi Jacobs's bible passage;

#POV #INSTASHOT GOOD MORNING. 2 Corinthians 8:9 AMP

“For you are becoming progressively acquainted with and recognizing more strongly and clearly the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (His kindness, His gracious generosity, His undeserved favor and spiritual blessing), [in] that though He was [so very] rich, yet for your sakes He became [so very] poor, in order that by His poverty you might become enriched (abundantly supplied).”

Also, this is what singer, Waje had to say;

"we had a dog named Pup. He was a mean and ferocious animal. We had him chained in the back of the house to a four-by-four post. The chain was huge. We never imagined that he could possibly tear himself loose from that post. He would chase something and the chain would snap him back.”

“One day Pup saw something that he really wanted. It was out of his reach. He pulled that chain to the limit. All at once, instead of drawing him back, the chain snapped, and Pup was loose.”

“That's what God will do for you. The thing that used to pull you back you will snap, and you will be liberated by a goal because God's put greatness before you. You can't receive what God wants for your life by looking back. He is mighty. He is powerful enough to destroy the yoke of the enemy in your life. He is strong enough to bring you out and loose you, deliver you, and set you free."
