Ebola Came From White Mans Country, Not Africa—MC Shakara
12.08.2014 LISTEN

The recent outbreak of the Ebola virus in West Africa has raised serious concerns and fears among people, including celebrities, who have continued to help in sensitising the public on measures to be taken to avoid contracting the deadly disease.

The virus came into Nigeria through a Liberian man, who is now dead, and it is almost spreading like wild fire. Already, 10 cases have been confirmed in Nigeria, with over 100 persons placed under surveillance.

Recently, Jim Iyke fled Liberia because of the disease.

Ace comedian, MC Shakara, in an exclusive chat with Nollywoodgists.com, said he doesn't know whether he will leave the country or not because of the disease.

“I don't know (whether i will leave the country or nor), maybe when it spreads, which I wouldn't want by the Grace of God. Where ever it came from, it should go back in Jesus name, we want to live happily, but eventually if it does, I think we would take the bull by the horn, then we will know what to do by then. Ebola came from the White man's country, this one they are saying Liberia, it must be from the White people, who do weird things with animals and the rest so it must be from them. Even if you are running to anywhere, you can still run into it," he told us.

The comedian, who has travelled outside the country at different occasion, said nothing will make him leave Nigeria. “I don't intend leaving Nigeria; I don't think anything would make me run out of Nigeria, because my shop is here (general laughter,” he said.
