Nollywood actress cum singer, Jennifer Eliogu, has disclosed to her teaming fans that she would want to do more of good music than acting. She added that music has been part of her for a long time.

Her singles, 'You and I', 'Ifunanya,' and 'Fantasy' are a fusion of different genres of music. 'Ifunanya' was nominated as the Best R&B song at the Nigerian Music Video Awards 2013; 'You and I' is the cover version of the late highlife legend, Celestine Ukwu's song, while 'Fantasy' is a lover's rock reggae song.

Eliogu declared that she is into music to make an impact and not in any competition with anybody because she is in for good.

The singer who is set to perform at the African Women in Leadership Conference taking place in Atlanta, USA, explained that apart from the fact that she wants to do good music, she observed that music is a serious business and she is in for the long run.

“Music is something that has always been a part of me. I have come into the music industry to stay. I'm in it for good. I am not in competition with anybody, it is just another way of making use of the talents that I have. I am not in it because other people are going into music but because I have the passion for it and I have always wanted to make good music. Music is serious business, and I am in for the long run. I have a 10-man band called Silk Band and we just want to make people feel good through music,” she disclosed.
