The 2013 Miss Global Nigeria Queens during the 2014 Lagos screening, held at Ikoyi, Lagos, addressed the aspiring queens on what to expect in the pageant which they say is very fascinating but tasking.

The queens Michelle Ijeh and Antai Victoria spoke to the girls about their experience during the last year's competition and how they struggled to win the crown.

According to the winner of the 2013 MGN, Michelle Ijeh, she said she thought everything would be very easy, but it was a different ball game when she got to the camp. "It wasn't fun at all. I saw different people and had to share a room with other girls."

The first runner up, Antai Victoria who had been in the competition a year before, 2012, but got evicted along the line, said she knew she didn't do something right but she had to come back again and she won the first runner up in 2013. “I didn't behave as if I have been in the competition before, and behave like, oh, they are going to pick me because I was here before, it was totally different, I gave in all my best”

According to the queens they acclaimed that the pageant is a competition that looks at everything, it entails someone with beauty, brains, homeliness and everything to win the pageant.

The 2013 First runner up, Antai Victoria, however said the girls don't know what they are in for and it is all part of the experience. “Miss Global is all about been real and if anyone is caught pretending, the contestant will be fished out, but for me, I think it is my humility that made me won the crown, and the fact that am cool headed, I love being a queen, and helping people”
