The Bank of Industry Limited (BOI) is Nigeria's oldest, largest and most successful development financing institution. It was reconstructed in 2001 out of the Nigerian Industrial Development Bank (NIDB) Limited, which was incorporated in 1964. The bank took off in 1964 with an authorized share capital of 2 million (GBP).
The big red carpet event of the launching of our Screen Naija One
Village, One Cinema Project comes up on June 22 at the Freedom Park on Broad Street on the Lagos Island of Lagos city, the commercial capital of Nigeria. And expected to grace the event is the new brand ambassador of Bank of Industry, Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, aka D'Banj the famous sensational Afro hip hop Nigerian entertainer and other celebrities, including Nollywood stars.
The event will be covered by Silverbird TV, Galaxy TV, Channels TV, AIT and Star Times, The Guardian, The Nation, Vanguard, This Day, Smooth FM, Cool FM, Nigeria Info, Wazobia FM, Beat FM, Naija FM, and Inspiration, Nairalaland, Nigeria Films, Nigerians Report, 24/7 Nigeria on Twitter, etc; with a total reach of over 44 million people on TV, Radio, newspapers and social media network sites.
Screen Naija will also be launched in every conducive and receptive community in Nigeria with the support of the Bank of Industry to create jobs in Screen Naija outdoor cinemas and DVD sales outlets.
