Iyanya's Twitter Account Verified

Top social media networking platform, twitter has verified the account of Nigeria's wave-making artiste, Iyanya Mbuk, on its platform.

The verification was made visible on Saturday on Iyanya's account on twitter. With the verification of the singer's account on twitter, Iyanya's profile will now carry the seal of authenticity, which is a blue mark sign.

Other top Nigerian stars with verified accounts with twitter are Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, 2Face Idibia, Asa, Osaze Odemwingie, Don Jazzy and his Mavin Records crew, D'Banj amongst few others.

The verification is aimed at differentiating parody accounts of some public figures from their original accounts on twitter.
