Nollywood Actor, King Bassey In Motorcycle Accident, Undergoes Surgery [Pictures]

Sources close to up and coming Nollywood actor, King Bassey was reported to have been involved in a ghastly accident involving his motorcycle and a car in Lagos.

According to what Nollywoodgists.com reliably gathered, the handsome light skinned actor was in involved in the accident along Ozumba Obadinwe road, very close to 1004 Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, October 26, 2012.

Nollywoodgists.com learnt that Bassey was riding his motorcycle on the road when he reportedly ran into a car in front of him. Nollywoodgists.com was informed that a car in front of him suddenly changed lane in order to avoid another car. Bassey couldn't change lane because he (Bassey) was close to the edge of the road, so, he ran into the car and was injured in the head.

A female sympathiser later rushed him to the General Hospital at Marina, Lagos Island for treatment. We now hear that he is to undergo a surgery later but his head needs to heal well before the surgery.

When contacted, Bassey told Nollywoodgists.com apart from the head injury, he had a fracture at his jaw. He said he was suppose to undergo the surgery today but the surgeon advised his head injury heals first.

Already, the Lagos State government has banned the use of motorcycle on the highways in the state.
