Efa Iwara is back with a certified banger. The rapper/ songwriter, is proud to announce the release of his first official single titled 'Open & Close'.
The song, which features Hypertek Records recording artiste Dammy Krane and was produced by DTunes of “Kukere” fame, has already been sampled and approved by industry heavyweights amongst who are Sound Sultan, eLDee and 2Face.
According to the 6' 1” Geography graduate, “after putting out such critically acclaimed material as “E2DFA” and “Over You” with Praiz in the past month just to test the waters, we decided to switch gears and go for the more accessible pop sound that is sure to reach a larger audience. 'Open & Close' is the result; and we are confident that it will do the job we have created it to do.”
EFA can also be found on MI's illegal Music 2 Mixtape where he featured on the track 'Star'.
With a debut album due out later in 2013, EFA released remixes from the summer of 2010 and an internet single EFA on 11-1-11 to introduce himself to the Nigerian market with a view to taking on the world in the next few years. In late 2011, his “The Waka EP” with producer Bigfoot was released to the public with rave reviews.
EFA is signed to Bayo Omisore's Jus' Kiddin' 360.
