What would have amounted to another tragedy was recently averted in Nollywood when top actor and comedian Victor Osuagwu narrowly escaped a ghastly car accident.
The crash, which left the Mbaise, Imo State-born respected thespian with a broken neck happened a couple of weeks ago in Calabar, the capital of Cross Rivers State.
A reliable source who knew about the accident, disclosed that the Uniport Theatre Art graduate was returning from a movie location in the night when the vehicle driving him was involved in the fatal accident.
Confirming the incident, Osuagwu, who spoke with SE, early in the week, said it was God that saved him from the crash, adding that it was a serious accident.
“I thank God I have fully recovered and no longer on the hospital bed. I'm now back home with my loving family,” he happily told us.
